Outline of what Grace plans to do.
Thanks and Gratitude
My first try in Calgary, as a city Councillor candidate was a real eye opener. I am thankful to the people who voted for me, and sorry that a great majority of the Ward 6 did not get to see my full platform of ideas, concepts and designs.
A major reason for this is the abject failure of the Ask Her Association organization promises of support and financial assistance. My experience with this organization can be best described as an analogy to parachute school, feeling as if I had been taken up in a plane without a parachute and tossed out the door. (more on that organization to follow)
The continued support of my family, close friends and volunteers became the wind beneath my wings, I am very proud of everyone who helped me, donors and supporters alike, in every way. This will not deter me from pursuing another political position in the future.
What people are saying about Grace Nelson
When I did my preliminary research on candidates, Grace was the only candidate in Ward 6 with a positive platform and vision.
I live out side the city. However, I have worked with Grace on a board of a registered charity, so I know her work ethics. She can make a decision based on logic, and works well on a team. While there is no “perfect” person, Grace is one of the better ones. “For sure, eh!” – Frank Hendsbee
